Langhe’s wine tradition, a bond with the land and an innovation for a winery 2.0
SINCE 1930 A HISTORY OF FAMILY AND VALUES
We continue our journey with the same passion and authenticity as our ancestors who came before us. As we look to their time honoured traditions for guidance, we also look to our own innovative ideas that grow rich everyday. These philosophies are based on our own steady and extensive research we put into the production of fine wines. We pay close attention to new markets emerging everyday as we continue to explore and create our own modern digital story

HOW WE WERE
A passion’s history for wine since 1930
Our Winery’s history started in 1930 in the small common of Diano d’Alba.
Immersed in the vineyards of Langhe’s hills, our legacy was born. Founded by Great-Grandparents Lorenzo and Argentina and grown as simple farm in it’s early years, the land at this time was dedicated to the sole purpose of farming.
In the time fallowing the second world war Pierino - the only son of Argentina and Lorenzo - decided to carry forward the family business. Pierino had the fantastic idea to invest in grapes of Dolcetto which were native to his own land.
Here emerges our deep bond with the land and its roots, where we continue to weave the story of our Winery.

In the late 1960's the Aimasso brothers decided to convert their lands completely into vinyards, thus also beginning their production of wine. They started exclusively with Dolcetto, which was sold privately and loose in carboys.
The Brothers new business structure began solid. It was a Balance between Lorenzo's strategic commercial and technical knowledge revolving around the winemaking process itself, as well as his strong attachment he shared with the land, while Giuseppe’s mind however bore a more mature point of view that led him to a astute consciousness in business management.
Lorenzo’s son Luca Aimasso began working alongside his father in the family business in 2010, bringing with him new visions driven by his passion for wine as well as his love for his family's traditions and heritage.

Grapes were destined to be their only future production. In the late 1960's the Aimasso brothers decided to convert their lands completely into vinyards, thus also beginning their production of wine. They started exclusively with Dolcetto, which was sold privately and loose in carboys.
