Barolo DOCG

Considered the King of wines, it holds an intense garnet color with a spicy and fruity scent; on both scent and pallet you take in notes of small red fruits., black pepper, nutmeg ,vanilla and liquorice in its more spicy tones to even more unique hints of cocoa, tobacco and leather. Must agei at least three years, of which one and a half in oak. Already a treat after 4-6 years comes to a head after 10 years of ageing.
Pairings: red meat both roasted and braised as well as game, and truffled dishes. Best with aged cheeses. We advise to let the wine breathe at least two hours before serving it.

Color: intense ruby red
Scent: a pure classic taste with flavours of ripe red fruits, both elegant and rich. A pleasant aroma of spices mixed with hints of violet and plums
Savour: dry and well structured while remaining balanced. Generously bodied with a velvet smooth finish
Alcohol percentage in wine: 14,5 % vol
Minimal local acidity: 5 g/l
Minimum net of dry extract: 23 g/l
Winemaking: cold maceration and 48 hours of pre-fermentation is necessary after of which 21 days in steel tanks in a temperature between 30/32° C with replacement. Malolactic in big wooden barrels

Mandatory ageing: 24 months in large Slavonian oak wooden barrels, bottled without filtration
